This is a complicated course. It was designed by Pepe Gancedo. One of its major features is the wind that blows almost continuously. The golf course is located in the town of Benalmadena, in the called Costa del Sol (Costa del Golf), and has taken advantage of the topography of the mountainous terrain on which it sits, knowing incorporate water hazards to offer one of the fields more demanding and motivating in the area, yet fun.

Torrequebrada hosted in 1979 in Spain Golf Open (Seve Ballesteros participating) as part of events organized in relation to the opening of the golf course, which is now one of the oldest in the province of Malaga.

To access you have to leave the N340 Malaga-Cadiz at km. 220, toward the village of Torrequebrada.
