The province of Malaga, whose coastline is formed by the Costa del Sol, meets almost half of the golf courses of Andalucia. The capital of the province, the birthplace of Pablo Picasso and home to a spectacular museum, offers in addition to its beaches and its bustling nightlife, a historic and tourist attractive offer, plus a wide range of golfing: El Candado, Guadalhorce, Añoreta and Real Club de Campo de Malaga, a pioneer of the Costa del Sol and one of the oldest in Spain. This last course, that reaches the beach and is located near Malaga airport facilities around Parador de Malaga Golf, whose name has been taken over by the course.

The cosmopolitan Marbella, must-visit spot for golfers in Spain is the city with the largest number of golf courses, 12. Golf Valley, a spectacular area situated behind Puerto Banus, includes Las Brisas, Los Naranjos, La Quinta, Aloha, and the Dama de Noche. Nearby is the Guadalmina club with two 18 hole courses.
